Local notes — Dundarave specifics
- Condo parking: Many Dundarave buildings restrict visitor parking. If your assigned stall is in a low-clearance underground lot, let us know — we’ll work surface-level (often in front of the building) for safety and access.
- Marine Drive timing: If your home is right on Marine Drive, we’ll usually pull into your driveway or visitor spot rather than working in traffic. We’ve done it for years and have the routine down.
- Sea-to-Sky prep: A lot of Dundarave residents commute up to Whistler. We highly recommend a tire health check before the snow season — your sidewalls take a beating on those passes.
- Heritage driveways: Older homes have narrower driveways. No problem — we work with what’s there and use ramps if needed.

Do I need to be home?
No. As long as your vehicle and tires are accessible, you can be at work, picking up the kids, or anywhere else. Many Dundarave customers leave us a key, garage code, or just the keys in the car.
How long does a tire swap take?
A typical seasonal swap takes 45 minutes to an hour. Off-rim mount-and-balance work takes a little longer (about 90 minutes for a full set). We work efficiently on-site with the same equipment a shop uses.
What if it’s raining?
We work year-round in West Coast weather. Mobile units are designed for it — a little rain doesn’t slow us down. For heavy snow or ice, we’ll reschedule.
Can you store my off-season tires?
Not currently. We recommend a dry, cool spot in your garage or storage locker, with tires stacked on rims or stood upright off-rim. Ask us about local tire storage options when we visit.
Do you do tire repairs on-site?
Yes. Most punctures can be patched in 30 minutes. Sidewall damage usually requires replacement — we’ll tell you straight what’s repairable and what isn’t.
