Local notes — Parking & access in Edgemont
Edgemont’s tree-lined streets and steep driveways are familiar territory. A few practical notes:
- Driveways: Most Edgemont driveways have plenty of room. If yours is on a slope, we’ll work on the flattest part for safety.
- Apartments & townhomes: If you’re in one of the newer developments along Edgemont Boulevard, we can work in your assigned visitor or resident parking. Just let us know the address ahead of time.
- Around the Village: We can usually work in public parking near Edgemont Village if you don’t have driveway access. Ask about a meet-up spot when you book.
- Snow days: Edgemont’s elevation means more snow than down by the inlet. We’ll postpone if conditions are unsafe — and we know that morning after the first big dump, you’ll want winters on. Book ahead.
Hours & Emergency Service
Standard hours: Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM. Sundays are closed for routine work, but we can come out for true emergencies — flats, sidewall blowouts, no spare in the back. Emergency rates apply for after-hours and Sunday calls.
FAQ — Mobile Tire Service in Edgemont
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as your vehicle and tires are accessible, you can be at work, picking up the kids, or anywhere else. Many Edgemont customers leave us a key, garage code, or just the keys in the car.
How long does a tire swap take?
A typical seasonal swap takes 45 minutes to an hour. Off-rim mount-and-balance work takes a little longer (about 90 minutes for a full set). We work efficiently on-site with the same equipment a shop uses.
What if it’s raining?
We work year-round in West Coast weather. Mobile units are designed for it — a little rain doesn’t slow us down. For heavy snow or ice, we’ll reschedule.
Can you store my off-season tires?
Not currently. We recommend a dry, cool spot in your garage or storage locker, with tires stacked on rims or stood upright off-rim. Ask us about local tire storage options when we visit.
Do you do tire repairs on-site?
Yes. Most punctures can be patched in 30 minutes. Sidewall damage usually requires replacement — we’ll tell you straight what’s repairable and what isn’t.
